We went over the student's recent homework. It involved calculating the volumes of solids using integration techniques and finding the area of spaces bound by multiple functions. The student didn't have much trouble with finding the volumes of squares and rotation. I told him to look at the problem visually and see where the limits change. This was a great session!

Today the student and I went over his PowerPoint presentation on the cardiovascular system for class. I looked through the presentation and made some edits and then afterwards he rehearsed his presentation. He and I then went over South and Central American countries and their currencies as he has a test on them tomorrow in Spanish. He was having some difficulty remembering which country was which on a map, so we made flashcards for him to study tonight. We decided that we will meet on Friday and focus on algebra and also decided that we will start our reviews for finals soon.

The student and I worked on his geometry assignment today. He was required to answer questions on the chapter review section for preparation for his upcoming test. Again, I noticed that he was trying to do the calculations in his head. I instructed him to slow down, and practice writing everything down.
