Tutoring review by Steve in St. Peters, MO
The student and I established the direction for her success in this course. We discussed her project that is due in two weeks, the use of technology, and we clarified what she needs to accomplish to be successful in this course. I introduced her to new sources of research and agreed to help her with her challenges with technology. I am very optimistic that we will achieve her academic objectives and I am confident I will be able to make her more comfortable with this course.

Tutoring review by Colin in St. Peters, MO
We began by going over implicit differentiation before working through related rates problems which will be on the student's test this week. We started with example problems from her book, from each of the main categories: volume expansion, Pythagorean theorem, and trig functions. Afterward we walked through some other homework problems, and she seemed to grasp them much better than before. We also took a look at a quiz question which we decided she shouldn't have been able to figure out because they hadn't been taught L'Hopital's rule yet.

Tutoring review by Heidi in St. Peters, MO
This session, the student and I went through practice questions. We again did the 10 question exam format, which delays knowledge of the answers until later. We worked on developmental stage questions, end-of-life questions, and health assessment questions. She did solidly throughout, scoring 70-90% on each set. She made note of things to remember and review. She wants to go over the cranial nerves and their assessment techniques.

Tutoring review by Christine in St. Peters, MO
Today, the student worked on a take-home quiz for his government course. He started it during class, so he only had 10 problems left to do at home. After he finished this, I checked his answers and I found that he had gotten a lot wrong. I circled the problems he got wrong. Then, I guided him through his textbook so he could read through the sections to find the correct answers.
