I am motivated daily by a deep desire to learn about and understand the world around me.

I am a certified teacher in elementary and Special Education. I have over five years of experience substitute teaching at the middle school and high school levels. I am especially strong in math (elementary math to algebra), spelling, writing, proofreading/editing, grammar, and organizational and study skills.

I have experience creating lesson plans for early readers through my work as editor of Bookrags.com. We have two kids of our own, 5 and 8, and I am excited to share the love of reading with kids of all ages!
