Cahokia is home to several buildings listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The Cahokia Courthouse is one such place; the structure was built in 1740 and still stands today. The Old Time Music Fete takes place each July and features traditional music performances on the front porch of the historic courthouse. The festival also features a Kids' Stuff children's activity area.
