How can a tutor help you master the ACT?
The ACT is used by many colleges and universities as a part of their undergraduate admissions process. It is a standardized test and takes approximately three and a half hours to complete. The ACT consists of five sections. These include writing, reading, science, math, and English.
The writing section involves writing an essay. This section is optional, but it is still a good idea to perform well on this section because your scores will be sent to any college or university that you apply to along with your essay. The reading section includes reading comprehension. The science section focuses on interpretation, analysis, evaluation, reasoning, and problem solving. The math section involves pre-algebra, coordinate geometry, intermediate algebra, plane geometry, and trigonometry. Finally, the English section consists of strategy, style, grammar and usage, sentence structure, and organization.
