"We spent time reviewing strategy for various parts of the verbal section, with much of our time focused on reading comp. We then spent some time reviewing the reasoning questions (strengthen/weaken) and we also completed some short verbal questions. She has a strong basis in verbal and will benefit from consistent practice and building her vocabulary. Great work so far!"
"We worked on test-taking strategies in English, and identifying question types. Keep practicing going through each section of the test and identifying what needs to be done to successfully answer the question. We will do math next week."
"We worked on the Verbal Section for the GRE. We spent time on the sentence equivalence questions talking about the importance of finding words that are similar to one another, not only words that fit. We also spent time working on the different types of reading comprehension questions. I tried to give an example of every type of question that will be asked on the actual GRE. The method of trying to predict what word goes in the blank for fill in the blank questions seemed to help the student."
