"The student did not have math homework tonight, but he did have 3 pages of questions for his religion class that he had to review, so we worked on that. It consisted of several questions on each of the Seven Sacraments (Baptism, Confirmation, Reconciliation, Eucharist, Anointing of the Sick, Holy Orders, and Matrimony), their origins, and what they symbolize. He used his notes to answer them. He did really well on these."

"Today we finished reviewing for the student's final exam by doing some additional review over function arithmetics, plotting exponential/logarithmic functions, and answering questions about asymptotes, domain, range, growth/decay, and zeros. We also reviewed solving exponential/logarithmic equations, inverse functions, sampling, and extraneous solutions. Two topics the student struggled with were asymptotes and cluster versus stratified sampling. I gave her some potentially helpful devices and concepts to solidify these ideas. She still seems to be doing fairly well during our sessions, and I am confident in her performance for her final tomorrow."
"Today the student and I covered probability and independent and dependent events in probability. She struggled a bit with probability when there were two or more items involved. The student was open to learning new strategies and focused on the lesson. I included strategies that will help her with probability and understanding the difference between independent and dependent events. I left the student with extra practice, and she completed those problems correctly before the session ended. The student was able to find the probability of different events."
"We started a prep test and finished a third of it. The student was eager to understand some concepts."
"The student and I went over conics (circles, ellipses, parabolas, and hyperbolas) and started on long division of polynomials. We did some example problems for all the topics we went over, and she was able to solve everything quickly and correctly."
