Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"Ideal gas law: Boyle's and Charles's law. Final exam is tomorrow. The biggest concern was understanding how pressure and volume affects a gas. Overall good session."
"She has an exam coming up next week so we covered some of the recent chapters (work, energy, springs, conservation)."
"We covered rotational motion and energy of rotational motion problems. We went through homework problems she needed help with. She seems very comfortable with this material now."
"Today the student and I briefly covered banked curves, and she completed an AP problem on the subject. We also went over some graphing-based kinematics questions, and looked at the patterns between a-t, v-t, and x-t graphs for different types of motion."
"Today the student and I completed our final session for the semester. We had a general overview of all of the concepts covered, and discussed the equation sheet in great detail. We did discuss the equations from the equation sheet, which derived units would be important, and other materials that would be good to study and review, and to include on the equation sheet."
"Today the student and I continued reviewing for her college algebra final. The concepts covered included matrix multiplication, summations of definite and infinite geometric and arithmetic sequences, and linear factorization. I began the session with a warm-up quiz on matrix multiplication, which she did a good job on. We then spent the remainder of the session going through her review sheet. I recommend she continue doing examples and attempt to identify the patterns in the problems. A lot of this content is new for her so I can't gauge her mastery, but she did seem to be learning quickly."
