Hi! I'm Kelly! I've worked in schools with kids for over 10 years. I have worked with all ages, skill levels and backgrounds. I really enjoy teaching and service and helping others through challenges.

My mission as an educator is to motivate, inspire, enable, and encourage students by providing a safe, and encouraging atmosphere for learning. Its crucial to help the child become an independent learner and build confidence. I believe every child is different and has untapped abilities. My job is to help them discover those abilities.

I believe that learning is fun, and I enjoy learning new things. I want to find out what my students enjoy, and make school subjects and test preparation fun for them, too.... Making learning fun for students is the most important thing I do.... I would definitely see what their strengths and weaknesses are to focus on in future sessions, and give some tips and strategies to start working on to improve test-taking skills right away.

I began tutoring six years ago, and have been working with a variety of age groups and subjects ever since. I have tutored in elementary schools, middle schools, high schools, and colleges. In college, I majored in Philosophy and minored in Physics and English. I'm excited to work with students and help them learn in their own individual ways!
