About Me

I am a graduate of Fontbonne University. I received a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education. In my student teaching experience, I taught all subjects in a first grade classroom. I have been working as a substitute teacher at the elementary level since graduating. I have taught all subjects in grade areas from Kindergarten through sixth grade. While I am capable of tutoring for a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about teaching reading and mathematics. I believe a day without learning is a day wasted, and I hope to impart this love of learning and hunger for knowledge to my students by helping them to discover knowledge rather than imparting that knowledge to them. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, gardening, Cardinals baseball, baking, and paper crafts.
