About Me

I am a recent Colgate University graduate with a B.A. degree in Biochemistry. Over the past five (5) years, I have tutored several students ranging from the ages of 7 to 18. By far, my favorite subject to tutor is Math because once a student understands a mathematical concept, the problems that he/she struggled with before become astonishingly easy. I believe that tutoring is a very underestimated supplemental tool that should be more seriously considered if a student is having trouble grasping the concept. A fair and adaptive 1-on-1 tutoring method helps students to understand the material on their own, which is ultimately the goal of any education. When I am not tutoring, I am either responding as an EMT or firefighter for my fire department or playing basketball, volleyball, football, or rugby. If I am not playing sports, then I am watching Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, ESPN, or Suits.
