Robert We all learn differently. As Albert Einstein said, "Study is not the learning of facts but the training of the mind to think." Thomas Edison said only five percent of people think; another 10 percent think they think; and 85 percent would rather die than think. Let me help you be one of the five.... We all learn differently and at our own pace. Also, we often know more than we think we do. We just need to ask the right questions. Tutoring should be about identifying where a student is having problems, and then helping them devise their own strategies to address those problems and find answers on their own.

Nicolas I hope to be able to use my academic and past tutoring experience to help students improve their performance. I believe in focusing on the process for the work instead of the specific answers to problems.... I believe that it is important to both answer any questions a student has and help them understand how to do the work so they will do well on their own.... I will talk with them about their goals, work with them through a few problems to see their strengths and weaknesses, and introduce some ways for them to start improving on their weaknesses.
