"Final Exam Review: Precalculus Quiz 1B, Law of Cosines, Law of Sines, area of any triangle, vector operations."
"Review for upcoming quarterly. The student always does well in the sessions - I believe his difficulties lie in the time it takes to process some of the information taught in class, that he processes the classroom material through the date of exam and only after assessments truly understands the material. We will continue to try to get him head-started on material to improve his grades - his knowledge and abilities continue to be excellent."
"This session we reviewed verifying more complex precalculus identities for the student's upcoming precalculus test."
"The student completed an online quiz and began to prepare for the upcoming test. Since he is still having difficulty graphing trig functions, I introduced him to a new method and we practiced it during the entire session. I suggested to him that he should redo some of the more difficult graphing problems using the new method before his test on Thursday. We are also planning to meet on Wednesday to make sure he is ready."
"The student and I reviewed his homework dealing with the difference quotient rules of finding a derivative and slope at a given point. We covered the note sheet from class and started working on reviewing for his final exam."
"The student and I went over her precalculus material. This consisted of solving for trig identities, using the half-angle identities, using the power reducing identities, and solving for values by using these identities. We solved for triangles and proved the identities via multi-step simplification."
