"We went over additional worksheets on creating equations from the displayed graphs. Sometimes the choice of graphical points to easily determine the equation were less than obvious. We went over looking for axis intercepts, asymptotes, and integer values (e.g., (2,0), (1,3), etc.) to more easily calculate the equation. We spent the time going over the worksheets."
"We went over almost 30 questions regarding solving linear equations and quadratics. It seems the student had the concepts down, but had trouble setting them up. I provided tips on how to set them up and it helped. It went very well!"
"We went over basics for conics. Mainly we covered how to derive the focus and directrix of a parabola. We also worked on how to put a circle in standard form and find the center and radius of the circle from there."
"We went over her homework problems that she was struggling with. After a few problems, she seemed to understand better what the teacher is looking for. We then went back through her old test to see why she missed some of the problems. I will be bringing worksheets on Monday so we can practice log rules which is where she is struggling."
"We went over his homework assignment and completed an online quiz. The student was introduced to new concepts such as angular velocity, inverse functions, and composite functions. As usual, he was attentive throughout the session and understood everything that I guided him through."
"We went over his homework on trigonometric functions and worked through different types of problems. He seemed to grasp the concepts rather well, and just needs to do more practice problems to fully master them."
