"Today, the student and I completed another Spanish lesson. We focused on his vocabulary terms and went through his index card together. We determined what words he tends to forget and made sure to set these asides for further study. We also looked over a new type of verb sheet that includes the different varying translations of a conjugated Spanish verb in the present indicative tense. I have started to list out the possible translations for the student to help him in a visual manner with his supplemental study. We will begin transferring the other verbs with the same extra-detailed translations. We also talked about introducing additional verb tenses once he is ready to move on from the present indicative."
"Today, the student and I covered the direct object and indirect object pronouns, as these have been showing up in her audiobooks and classes. We practiced direct object sentences, indirect object sentences, and sentences with both. I also took this as an opportunity to practice the past tense endings of verbs that tend to take the indirect object. The student struggled a bit with the grammar and got tired toward the end, but did a very good job at identifying when to use each type of pronoun. However, she still has trouble with noun-adjective and noun-object agreement, which is something we will work on soon. She is learning a lot and always has a positive attitude!"
