Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"The student and I worked on a lab write-up as well as a large packet for his Biology class. His lab write-up consisted of concepts pertaining to genetic transformation/conjugation within bacterial cells; his packet consisted of other genetic concepts, particularly the transcription and translation of DNA and RNA. Although there were some concepts we had to iron-out, he had a very strong understanding of the material by the end of the session. He said that he understands the math homework very well. As always, this was a very productive session so I look forward to working with him again."
"Initial meeting: got to know one another. Formed a study plan. End of term project: created a PowerPoint presentation for the end of the term project on bony fish. Student is a hard working and capable learner. I am confident in our study plan and finding success."
"We covered theories of evolution, types of evolution, genetic drifts, hardy-Weinberg equilibrium, founder effect, carbon dating, fossil dating, and theories of use and disuse of organs. Her attitude was positive towards the material. I left her with extra practice. She has improved in the area of answering short answer questions."
