The student was able to finish a draft of the essay that is due tomorrow on the book they read in class, Fahrenheit 451. She will type it up at school tomorrow and show the teacher. She will ask the teacher if she should work on a second draft next week.

The student planned out his research essay and we discussed sources and how to approach his first draft/outline. We then did some SAT improving paragraphs and made a schedule for our SAT strategy. After he was getting most questions right, we decided to move on to error IDs. We learned some of the major topics and did practice questions. We will brainstorm a good strategy for him to learn the many idioms he will need to know.

We then went over the correct definitions, and I helped her come up with different acronyms or mnemonic devices to help her remember the more difficult terms.
