Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"This was the first session of his new semester. He has had one class in the new semester, and the focus is currently on atomic theory. We covered the subtopics of potential energy for the atom and ionization energy. He had a couple worksheets with mostly conceptual questions, which he found very easy after some minor clarifications. He felt really good upon completing these, and that he had no problems with them whatsoever. Furthermore, he engaged me in questions about more advanced topics. I greatly enjoy seeing his desire to learn all he can, and it will help him to succeed."
"We covered naming organic compounds and organic reactions. We reviewed naming a little more. He did very well in that area. For the reactions, he knew most of them. There were some that he got confused with, but understood once things were clarified. Overall, this was a great session."
"The student just started working on reaction rates in her class. To get a little bit ahead, we went over the concepts and then went through old AP questions on reaction rates and kinetics. We are slowly going to start working towards preparing for the AP exam in May."
