I am currently studying Economics and East Asian Studies at Columbia University. Outgoing by nature, I have a teaching method that is very interactive. During a tutoring session, my students should expect a dialogue rather than a lecture. I have a background tutoring Math and Mandarin Chinese to students ranging from Elementary School to College.

I work and live in New York City. I grew up in Knoxville, TN and went to the University of Pittsburgh, where I studied economics and political science. I'm light-hearted but take academics very seriously. In all of my lessons I combine my curiosity about the world with the idea that learning can be fun.

I graduated from Williams College in 2009 with B.A. in Economics and Political Science. My Economics study is Macro and Finance oriented, with my senior thesis focused on the financial markets and statistical arbitrage.
