"The student and I reviewed for her final exam by answering AP Biology test questions. I left her with additional practice questions."
"We finished our discussion on bonding with a different textbook. It covered hybridization, molecular orbital diagrams, and how both relate to properties of molecules. We did some problems to review."
"We reviewed DNA replication and cell cycle. We went into detail about the conceptual framework and drew diagrams. Next session we will review these concepts and then go over photosynthesis."
"I helped the student re-articulate and format his government paper on ideologies which is due tomorrow. We discussed the importance of properly citing articles from legitimate sources and organization of his supporting ideas and statistics for each ideology. I also reviewed factoring, multiplying, and dividing polynomials in algebra II for him in preparation for his exam tomorrow."
"The student studied the worksheets that contain all the diagrams he needs to know for his final exam. We made a master word bank that will resemble the one on his test. He will use this resource to help him determine the correct answers."
"The student and I covered cranial nerve anatomy and some function. I cleared up any ambiguity about the course of the nerves as well as the importance of knowing the course they run. She is preparing for her exam this week and will be exploring the idea of studying through a "division of labor" method, i.e. dividing cranial nerves into functional groups to learn them. We will work towards constructing concept maps."
