The student and I spent the majority of the session working through assignment 3. We created graphs (scatterplots) and tables (correlation, simple linear regression, multiple regression) and discussed interpreting the statistics given by the output. He needs some review on statistical significance, p-values, and correlation coefficients. As we move forward with regression analyses and mean comparison/ANOVA, it will be increasingly important that he is comfortable with the basic concepts. Before our next session, he will attempt to complete as much of assignment 3 as possible, so that we can spend that session reviewing and refining it.

We discussed a few problems in geometry. He is sailing through the Algebra topics rather nicely and at a good pace.
