The student's next quiz is on the anterior muscles of the body. We started by reviewing all of the muscles she will be quizzed on. She had a homework assignment on this subject as well that was not completed, so I went over that with her. After further study, I quizzed her on the same material. As this is her next graded activity, we studied the muscular system and what she needed to review at home. I reinforced that she needs to study terminology and muscle location daily. We then reviewed briefly how to use skeletal anatomy, direction and Latin to assist in her muscle identification. At our next session, she will prep for the quiz again and then learn the Sliding Filament Theory and the muscle contraction cycle. She will bring information on her upcoming quizzes as well as the study guide for her unit exam. Very good session.
