Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"In her college Physics course, the student needed help with topics such as force, tension, velocity, and acceleration. We focused on these areas in as much detail as possible in our first session in hopes of giving her a better understanding of the material."
"Covered circuits, momentum, and Gaussian surfaces in preparation for the student's exam tomorrow. He seemed to breeze through most of the material with ease, and showed a strong knowledge of the concepts covered, so I believe he will do very well on his exam tomorrow."
"We reviewed Physics Fluids Concepts including: Density, Pressure, Pascal's Principle, Static Pressure, and Buoyancy. We covered a basic overview w/ some practice problems."
"The student needed help with homework, so I explained to him concepts needed in order to solve problems. The problems were explained with physics laws applied in each particular case. Overall, the session was productive from my point of view."
"The student seems very well prepared for her upcoming physics test. During our session, we covered translational kinematics problems involving projectile motion and N2L problems involving blocks on inclined planes."
"The student sent over some homework problems she was having trouble with and we worked through them. The first one was pretty quick, she understood the concept and it was a pretty straight forward problem. The second one took longer because she had found the answers online, but didn't understand it. I worked through the problem step by step and explained why I was doing each thing. She seemed to understand the concepts really well, but the math part was giving her some trouble. Her biggest issue was knowing how to manipulate equations to solve for a variable. By the end, she said she understood it, and I think she has a good understanding of the concepts and material we covered today."
