"We covered not only the names of the relationships between angles but the relationships between their values. She was struggling the most with remembering the relationship and value names between the angles of a traversal, but as we worked on them, she was quickly able to recall them. I suggest that she continues to work on these more to ensure that she is able to remember these and be able to compute these on a test or exam. Her attitude towards the material covered showed that she was motivated to learn and progress in her studies. Hopefully, in the future, we will be able to have a more efficient session by having the material pulled up and sent ahead of time, but other than that, I can't wait to see her continued progress in the future."
"We covered parallel and perpendicular lines and how the slopes of parallel lines are equal and the slopes of perpendicular lines are negative reciprocals of one another. We also went over how to find the equation of a line that is parallel to a given line and how to find the equation of a line that is perpendicular to a given line."
"We covered parallel and perpendicular lines, slope intercept form, and point slope form. The student needed help a bit with the concept of slope intercept form. She caught on quickly, and is now much more comfortable with the different forms of equations. She had a great attitude throughout the session."
"We covered parallel and perpendicular lines. We also went over alternate exterior and interior angles. We had to figure out which angles were congruent. Lastly, we had to figure out the slope when given 2 points. This session was a win!"
"We covered physical sciences, mostly. We went over scientific notation, the metric system, and manipulations of both Charles' and Boyle's laws. The student understood the subject matter after only a little clarification from my part. I left practice problems for the student to work through before going back to class. It is my opinion that the student is gaining confidence in perceived weak areas."
