"Today we focused on verb conjugations, specifically the present simple tense. We looked at regular verbs where the third person conjugations changes to -s, -es, or -ies depending on the ending of the verb. We reviewed the alphabet sounds, difficult words that the student has been practicing, and covered the idea of 'dot your i's' to focus on the correct punctuation and pronunciation of the 'I'. Her homework is to practice verb conjugations."

Since the students have worked on these passages previously, they were familiar with the steps. There was a couple of unknown words from passage two which I explained to the students."
