Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"The student did ten homework questions involving manipulations of sines, cosines, tangents, and some of the identities."
"We covered polar equations, vectors, components, angles between two vectors, changing polar equations to rectangular formula, and complex number forms."
"We reviewed polar coordinates. This included how to plot points and graph polar equations (rose, circle, cardioid, limacon), how to convert between polar and rectangular coordinates, etc."
"Worked on properties of equations and (briefly) on Law of Sines. Lots of intercepts, roots, asymptotes. Doing a good job with the material."
"The student and I worked through her study packet for her upcoming test. Most of the problems dealt with trig formulas and identities."
"Today we applied trigonometric functions for solving triangles. Particularly we used Law of sines to solve triangle or right triangle trigonometry. Also, we determined the area of a triangle as one half product of two sides multiplied by the sine of the angles between them. We gave a specific look to an SSA case and discussed that system could have one, two, or no solutions."
