I'm a former STEM high school teacher and advisor. Currently I support high school students prepare for what is next once they graduate. I believe in supporting students by getting to know about them both personally and professionally. I work to build confidence and foster a love for learning in subjects that the student may not enjoy.

I am a graduate of Loyola University Maryland. I am licensed to teach first through sixth grade. I have worked with children from first grade to eighth grade in many different capacities! I was a camp counselor for years, I have tutored young students as well as college students at Loyola. I currently work with 8th graders. I would love to teach elementary school and middle school students in my areas of interest. They are: Nutrition, cooking skills, math, the biological sciences, reading, and writing. I currently produce a podcast called "healing outside the box", which deals with issues of food safety and sustainability, as well as nutrition. I enjoy discussing these topics. I also encourage students to ask about basic anatomy and nutrition-related chronic illnesses.
