Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"We covered how to calculate pH of strong and weak acids. After our session, the student was able to do the problems pretty well. She has her own homework problems to practice. Overall, the session went really well."
"The student and I reviewed for her chemistry quiz tomorrow. She told me the topics covered on the quiz and we reviewed the ones she wanted to refresh. We mainly talked about periodic trends that included atomic radius, ionization energy, and electronegativity in depth. We discussed covalent bonds vs ionic bonds and what polarity means. We were able to connect these concepts to each other and find out which elements are on the extreme ends of these relationships. We reviewed a little bit of carbon dating and she will do some practice questions before her quiz tomorrow. I also advised her to go over definitions of vocabulary related to the chapters. She should do well on her quiz."
"We covered single displacement and double displacement today. We also discussed different phases each molecule has after a reaction. The student had a pretty solid grasp on all of the topics that we discussed."
