"Today, we worked through a practice exam which covered topics that we previously worked with. We also worked through the student's current homework assignment. This covered different formulations of linear equations and methods used to find a linear equation from a set of data points. He did well with it but might need more practice to memorize the formulas."
"Today, we worked with vertex form, roots, and parabolas. The student says that she almost has a B+ in class and is very happy about it. All the praise should go to her because the work has been coming from her, and I have just been guiding her. She is a good student, and I look forward to working with her for the next half of this school year."

"Today's session began by the student explaining the method his teacher showed him. Then, we went over another way to factor trinomials and did numerous problems to make sure he got the hang of it. "Today's session was a review of the general equation of a straight line. I explained the meaning of the slope and the y-intersection. She was confused at first with the intersection of the line with the y-axis, but I explained in detail what was each one of the parts of the general equation. After this explanation, she was more confident doing the rest of the exercises by herself. She made some mistakes with the signs of both, the slope and y-intercept. I redirected her on how to get rid of those sign errors, and she did some exercises all by herself again, and did them very well."
"Today's session was focused on special triangles (30-60-90 and 45-45-90), the Pythagorean theorem and how to figure out if sides form a triangle, and doing problems of a triangular nature and solving word problems using special triangles."
