Physiology Tutoring review by Connor in Somerville, MA
In this session, the student and I began a comprehensive review in preparation for the final exam next week. He had already worked through the part that we covered together, but needed extra help with empirical formulas and percent composition. As I have always stated, it was clear that he was interested in receiving instruction and improving his ability. He had no issues with understanding my explanations and examples. I reiterated the dimensional analysis technique I had introduced weeks ago because unit conversion is crucial for this exam. For extra practice, I recommended working ahead in anticipation for Wednesday. The student got a 92 on his most recent exam, so the progress this semester has been sustained.

Physiology Tutoring review by Hayden in Somerville, MA
Today's session was dedicated to discussing limiting reactants, chemical equilibrium, reaction pathways, and kinetics. I also discussed chemical nomenclature and provided the student with a number of examples in order to test his proficiency. There is a lot of material to cover, so I am trying to first cover all of the posted concepts and then go back to any areas of difficulty. It is my hope to dedicate tomorrow to finishing the study guide, and using Wednesday to do a large scale review. In the meantime, I have asked the student to go over all that we have covered so far in order to cement his understanding of previously covered material. If we can practice the primary concepts and make sure they are well understood, I feel this gives him the best preparation for his final. We will continue the study guide tomorrow, and cover conversions and stoichiometry in further detail.

Physiology Tutoring review by Sravanthi in Somerville, MA
The student and I reviewed the practice autonomic nervous system questions from our last session yesterday. We almost completed the special senses chapter during this session. We reviewed the anatomy and physiology of the eyes and ears. She had a good understanding of the material. She will finish reviewing the vestibular system and email me with any questions. She will study for her last exam of this class which is on Thursday. I asked her to email me with any questions while she studies.
