I met with the student today and we worked on solving some of her math assignment problems. We had a productive session. Then, we worked on some physics. I formulated a problem involving 3 phases of the elevator (acceleration, constant speed and deceleration). I asked her to plot the acceleration plot versus time knowing the plot of the speed and she had no problems solving it.
