How can a tutor assist you in conquering Physics?

Understanding physics can be one of the most complicated aspects of science, but it can also be an aspect that opens a lot of doors for your eventual career choice. For example, most people are pretty familiar with video games, but have you ever considered what goes into making a video game? As video games get more advanced, physics play a greater role in making games appear more realistic. Older games might have used simple jumps and short degrees of motion, but in today's world of fully detailed games, designers rely on an understanding of physics to make things look as realistic as possible.

If you're looking to take a step toward building your future by building a foundation in physics, Varsity Tutors could help you with that goal! Let us find you an expert physics tutor in Bellevue, NE, who is trained to teach students at any proficiency level. Session Summaries by Physics Tutors

Bellevue, WA Physics tutoring
During my session with the student, we solved 6 problems involving Newton's laws. In most problems, the student had to determine the forces acting on a given object, then apply Newton's second law to understand how the object will be moving. He did very well on all of the problems, and is feeling much more comfortable with the material. The student is very eager to learn, and always asks good questions.

Met with the student for the first session today. Since he has a test tomorrow on work, energy and momentum we went right into solving as many problems as we could. His main issue seems to be going from solving problems in a practice format to test conditions. The only way to resolve this would be by practicing on unfamiliar questions in a similar setting. Therefore, I've suggested that once we create a regular schedule I will email the student questions to test his understanding and identify weaknesses we can work on.

We covered the oxidative activity series of metals and halogens-- predicting whether a reaction will occur. The student did fairly well with predicting charges of ions and whether or not a reaction would occur when given the activity series chart. He struggled a bit with balancing reactions, so we will need to do more practice with that. Overall though I feel like we made a lot of progress and he seemed to have gained a much better understanding of these redox reactions and was in high spirits at the end of the session.
