We started and completed the student's physics project, which involved making a box that would block out very loud annoying sounds produced by a device. We used a cooler with a box inside a box. The inner most box was filled with foam and closed, then set inside another box filled with foam. Then that box was placed in a cooler filled with beach towels and a sleeping bag. We were able to eliminate all of the sound from the device. She then finished her worksheet that walked through each step of the process. She just needs to make the accompanying PowerPoint.

We spent the evening working through review problems for his Wednesday test on basic optics, including converging and diverging lenses, concave, convex, and planar mirrors. Additionally we covered Snell's law of refraction, as well as critical angles for complete internal reflection.
