We took a soil sample to learn about the soil layers, separated soil via hydrologic sorting, and did an experiment proving that minerals do not come down in rain. The student's homework is to draw and label the hydrologic sorting of the soil, write up our experiment about minerals and evaporation, and to read pages 5-11 in the textbook and answer the focus questions.

Physical Chemistry Tutoring review by Paul in Hickory Hills, IL
We began our session today reviewing definitions of words from the student's text book. I had him use each of the words in a sentence to make sure he was understanding the definitions. Then we reviewed his science text book section going over planets, orbits, universal gravitation and inertia. We finished by reading one of the new books he is interested in.
