Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"As a warm-up, the students had to match restaurant vocabulary, (words and phrases and questions) with their English counter-part. Then had to categorize vocabulary in three situations where they would use or hear these words in phrases (when arriving at the restaurant, placing an order for food/drink and paying the bill). We reviewed emotions by completing a handout and another way to ask how someone feels. We had conversation about past day's activities. I introduced a schedule to the students and how to ask someone about their schedule and invite someone to go out."
"We worked on lesson four and did the recording part. There was also a reading and answering questions section we reviewed so that he could submit the assignment online."
"The student and I met for the first time today. We talked about her goals for Spanish and her learning style. I helped her make flashcards and study for a vocabulary quiz which she will have tomorrow."
