Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"We covered both chemistry and math this session. For math, we went over reflections about the y=x line, and absolute values of functions. For chemistry, we did an introduction of atoms, what they are composed of (protons, neutrons, electrons), and how to read the periodic table. The student did fine with the math problems, and even the introduction to atoms was not a big deal for him."
"This evening, the student only had one task assigned for homework, which was to read two pages from her science book on light waves and answer questions about what she read. Upon her completion of this assignment, I then had her explain to me what she'd learned about light waves, as compared to sound waves, from the homework assignment; she had a great grasp of the material by that point!"
"In my session with the student last night we focused on the review for his chemistry exam that is to be held on Monday. Because of the time between now and the exam, we completed half of the review (20 problems/questions) and discussed the logic and reasoning behind each topic more thoroughly. He started off with a fair amount of uncertainty regarding the material, but he definitely seemed to make significant progress in our session last night."
