Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"We covered the subject of kinetics. We reviewed rates of reaction, the rate law, the integrated rate laws, half-life, and activation energy."
"The student and I went over how to map the stars on the celestial sphere. We also touched on how to calculate precession of the north celestial pole."
"We went over her crib sheet for the exam and discussed the information for each type of test. We will review for her final exam next week."
"The primary focus of this session was to continue the end of semester review packet required for the student's physical sciences courses. The topics that he was struggling with in this course were solubility and solubility curves. To review the topics, we first covered the labs that were completed in his course using this topic. Then, we answered questions from the review packet to reinforce the information. During this session, we also began working on some of his homework covering astronomy. This section was more comfortable for him because he has an interest in the topic."
"Today we mostly worked with phase changes. I was able to find the spot in her book that actually outlined the type of problem that she was working on, so between the book and the solutions manual, we were able to walk through a bunch of aspects of a difficult problem."
"We covered Quantum harmonic oscillator for time independent Schrodinger's wave equation. I explained to her about hermite polynomials and how to solve the problem related to it. I asked her about the exam, and she said that she got 99% in her class, and our session proved to be really helpful for her. She seemed to have understood everything I went through today."
