"Today we reviewed for the student's upcoming chemistry exam on acid/ base, solubility, common ion, and titration. We reviewed how to set up ICE charts, how to identify the different types of acids/ bases and how they were each defined (Lewis, Bronsted-Lowry, etc.). She seemed to pick up on the material readily and seems in a positive place about her exam."

We established that she is very comfortable with chemical bonding, atomic theory, and oxidation/ reduction problems, but needs to review periodic trends and stoichiometry in more depth. She skipped over the most problems in section C since multiple-choice problems cover many acid/ base and equilibrium questions, which she has yet to learn. Overall, she was pleased with how she did on the test."
