"Today was a really good session with him! We focused on his homework; he had some makeup work from Monday, but we specifically focused on what was due Wednesday so that he would have it covered (double digit multiplication and great common factor work). He seemed to understand everything without any issues, and washable to work through all of the problems himself which was great! I'll be bring more double digit multiplication practice for next time as that's a newer skill for him, but so far, really good."
"Today we covered dictionary skills, basic multiplication word problems, pronouns, reading comprehension, fractions of whole numbers, commas, and quotation marks, fractions on a number line, conjunctions and simple sentences. Most of the content comes easy to the student. He has a great attitude toward learning. He says that he is doing well in his classes at school."
"Today we covered division of six numbers by one number. We also completed multi-step word problems. Next week, we plan on doing more division, multiplication, and multi-step word problems."
"Today we covered her math homework, how to round numbers. At first she had difficulty understanding the rules of round, but as she gained more practice, then she started to get the concept. We also went over some sight and vocabulary words as well."
"Today we covered math with Student 1 and Reading with Student 2. Student 1 and I did 2 digit by 1 digit multiplication. We worked on fractions as well. We used pictures to understand exactly what fractions actually are so that he can have a full understanding. Student 1 enjoys doing subtraction with large numbers, so we also did a couple long subtraction problems. Student 2 is still gaining confidence in his reading and is reading bigger words since last week. We will continue this routine for a little while, as I am seeing progress in both students."
"Today we covered order of operations. The student did great! She was focused and worked hard. She is only forgetting to add or subtract the final part of the problem, and this is something that she can fix easily by double checking her work."
