"The student and I went over some questions he had been assigned in class dealing with graphing functions with three variables."
"Student and I reviewed for a quiz on probability distributions and binomial distributions. We covered means, standard deviations, variance, etc."
"Problem of the week (a very quick one!) and test corrections from Derivatives Part II test. HW over mean value theorem."
"We went over four sections today: law of sines, law of cosines, vector basics, and the vector dot product. It was a significant amount of information to go over in just an hour and a half, but at the very least the student has been exposed to all of the content in the section. We were able to do a few practice questions for the law of sines and the law of cosines, and we repeatedly went over the new vocabulary in the latter sections. I highly recommend that he solve some of the odd-numbered practice questions (with answers in the back of the book)."
"We worked on the law of sines. We proved it using other trigonometric concepts and we worked on several problems applying it. Then we moved on to studying fractional exponents. We went into the notation and meaning of what fractions between 0 and 1 mean and how to use exponent properties and factorization to solve related problems."
"The student and I worked on problems in his trigonometry textbook as well as some problems in physics. In trigonometry, he was very proficient in his understanding of the concepts. He was quickly finding answers and any errors made were quickly identified and corrected. Physics was a little more of a challenge, but he again proved that he could work his way through the problems after reviewing the class material. Only minor suggestions were needed for him to work his way to the correct answer."
