We applied test taking strategies - annotating the question, rewriting the measurements with their units to ensure they match, and breaking the problem down into smaller parts - and these seem to help.

The student and I reviewed electron orbitals, ordering, and how to write expanded, abbreviated, and orbital notation, as well as exceptions and respective Bohr Model configurations (including ion notation). We began discussing Lewis structures as well. She is doing very well and will send me her HW worksheets to look over when she has completed them.
