Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"Today, the student needed help studying for a Spanish test she had the following day. We made flashcards for the vocabulary words, and then went through the necessary grammar sections in the chapter. She seemed more comfortable with the grammar concepts as she had learned them in the past two weeks. Since she hadn't looked at the vocab for over a month, she was a little rusty on remembering some of the definitions, but with a bit of practice with recall, they will come back to her."
"We studied and practiced verb conjugations and writing/translating simple sentences. Also, we reviewed the differences between "ser" and "estar." The student is making good progress. He was good-natured and caught on quick. I encouraged him to read children's books in Spanish to improve his comprehension and vocabulary. I got a sense for where he is in learning Spanish and where we need to go."
"Today we reviewed parts of the body and "I can" with 15 verbs. The students did a great job learning everything and following instructions. The extra practice is to memorize the verbs of the lesson."
