How can LSAT tutoring help you succeed?

If you're interested in getting into law school, the first hurdle is to pass the Law School Admission Test, more commonly known as the LSAT. Preparing for the wide-ranging test may be stressful and complicated, but with a professional tutor, you may be able to relax a bit and focus on your studies. The Varsity Tutors educational directors may find you an expert LSAT tutor in Omaha, NE, to cater to your specific needs.

The LSAT is comprised of several sections of multiple choice questions, in logical reasoning, analytical reasoning, reading comprehension, an unscored experimental section, and an unscored essay. The experimental section tests potential future LSAT questions. While the essay is not scored, along with your LSAT scores, law schools receive copies with your applications. In each of the sections of multiple choice questions, you'll have 35 minutes to answer all of the questions. Four distinct passages are included in the reading comprehension test, with passages in law, natural sciences, humanities, and social sciences.

We spent two hours on logic games. We're working on the student catching all the inferences that can be drawn from a puzzle's rules. We are also really focusing on time-saving techniques. Her accuracy is high, but she needs to solve more quickly. One way we focused on doing so is to arrive at the correct answer and not check over the remaining answers.

The student employed the strategies we talked about in our last session on her homework, but is still having some difficulty connecting the concepts. We intensively reviewed the LR and RC questions she had done for homework, then did an exercise in prediction on LR by covering answer choices with post-it notes to prevent distraction from the question. Assumptions in arguments are something she is still working on understanding, but we got much closer this session.
