The student and I worked hard at studying the Le Chatelier's principle. To learn this concept, she completed her homework that covered aspects of this idea, and I went over it with her. By the end of the session, she had a very good understanding of the aspects of the Le Chatelier's principle, so I sincerely look forward to seeing how she succeeds on future assessments that cover this idea. Additionally, there have been notes of progress, as evident by both her math and science grades improving since these sessions started, which is always an encouraging thing to see. As always, this was a very productive session and I look forward to working with her more soon.

This was a good session. We worked with intermolecular forces again. This time we dealt with vapor pressure (inverse to boiling point) that must overcome atmospheric pressure in order for a liquid to vaporize. We also looked at heat of fusion or needed heat to melt 1 mole of a substance. We defined polar bonds. We looked at hydrogen bonding, dipole forces and London dispersion forces. These directly affect the melting and boiling points. Electronegativity is key to determine if a bond is polar.
