Session Summaries by German Tutors

North Aurora, IL German tutoring
This session I reviewed house and interrogative pronoun vocabulary with the boys, as well as going over some emotions and feelings, and fruits and vegetables. We started working on greetings. The student did very well on this part. After that we worked on irregular verbs and I taught her the difference between Ser/Estar (to Be). This had a bigger difficulty. But this is very normal. It is a hard concept to understand for beginners. Although she did well, she still struggles with pronouns and conjugations in general. The student was more focused in this class, but still needs to work a little more outside the class. I told her to do some flashcards to accelerate her learning of vocabulary.
