The student did a very good job with his first short composition. He had some minor mistakes but overall was able to put his ideas in Spanish using correct grammar. For homework, he is to go over the grammar pages 96-97 and to write a small paragraphs or a few sentences telling me what are his plans for the summer using the verb IR.

The student and I practiced house vocabulary for his test on Friday. We quizzed the vocabulary words and created sentences using the vocabulary words, conjugating verbs as necessary. Then he listened to sentences and practiced deciphering their meaning through listening. He is doing very well on the vocabulary for the unit, but still lacks confidence in conjugation in context. In the coming weeks will continue to practice conjugation along with any new unit vocabulary.
