We discussed the importance of factoring and how to factor when there is a number other than one in the place of A. We also discussed factoring by grouping. We refreshed on how to simplify radicals as well. Since it was the first day back from vacation, both students were rusty on certain math skills. However, within a short time they were able to grasp the concept again. Both boys had an understanding of the quad ration equation by the end of the session.
