Looking for "NCLEX tutors near me"? Varsity Tutors can help.

The NCLEX (or National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses) is a test administered by the National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN) to help ensure that registered nurses (RN) and Practical/Vocational Nurses (PN) are qualified for their jobs. The NCLEX uses Computerized Adaptive Testing (CAT) technology to select questions based on a candidate's previous responses, allowing students to pass or fail the exam after as few as 75 questions or as many as 265 over a six hour period. This interface is unique and can feel intimidating, but Varsity Tutors can help you find an experienced NCLEX tutor to help you prepare.

There are two NCLEX exams: the NCLEX-RN for registered nurses and NCLEX-PN for practical nurses. The exams are similar, but have slightly different syllabuses. The NCLEX-RN covers Management of Care (17-23%), Safety and Infections Control (9-15%), Health Promotion and Maintenance (6-12%), Psychosocial Integrity (6-12%), Basic Care and Comfort (6-12%), Pharmacological and Parenteral Therapies (12-18%), Reduction of Risk Potential (9-15%), and Physiological Adaptation (11-17%).
