How can a Anatomy tutor help you?

Anatomy is simply the study of the human body, but why should you be interested in studying it? The most obvious answer is, it is essential for anyone who wishes to enter the field of healthcare and many science disciplines. Beyond that, however, there are still many reasons to engage in this field of study. It will give you a more thorough understanding of your own body and the way the systems work together to keep you in optimal working order. Regardless of why you are interested in studying the complexities of anatomy, a professional anatomy tutor could help you optimize your study time. Varsity Tutors can help you connect with a professional anatomy tutor in Montgomery County.

The first key in successfully studying anatomy is to know the language. The ability to understand common terminology can make it easier to decipher new terms as you encounter them. For example, anatomical directional terms and planes help you identify where something is located or occurring. Anterior indicates something is located in the front of the body while posterior indicates it is behind. Distal lets you know something is far away from the point of origin and proximal indicates it is near the origin. Something as simple as a comprehensive anatomical vocabulary can make a substantial difference in your overall understanding of the subject. Call us today to find anatomy tutors in Montgomery County, PA, to try to help you learn the terminology and do well in the course.

We went over the chapter for her quiz. She had gone over 3 of the 4 lectures for the quiz that is on Wednesday so far, and was having difficulties understanding some of the content in detail and getting the questions. We started by going over some basic concepts from her book, including equations for about 40 minutes. The next hour and 20 minutes was spent going over several practice questions the teacher did, where she and I alternated doing problems and I showed her where she was making mistakes. She needs to be more careful of negative signs, and writing her givens first.

The student and I reviewed NMR, mass spec, and IR spec. We did her homework together, and she was very proficient at completing problems with little or no help from me. She is struggling the most with interpreting data for all three types of characterization and then applying that to a structure.

Today we reviewed balancing chemical reactions and predicting the products for a double displacement reaction. The student did fine with balancing reactions. She needed a quick reminder about how to calculate values with coefficients versus subscripts. For predicting products, she did okay; she can figure out which components go together. Most confusion was coming from the polyatomic ions. We discussed this and I showed her the chart in her text that she needs to study so that she can easily recognize the polyatomic ions. Once she gets those straight she shouldn't have any issues at all. She clearly got the basic concepts and just needs to study the polyatomic ions and practice predicting products.
