"Completed all science sections in the ACT practice test book. Continued onto vocab. Will continue with the next two remaining sections in her second practice test book."
"The essay the student had written was so much better than his last one. The topic was about how being honest is always better than lying. The examples he used about how lying can always get you into trouble were well written, and made the essay fun to read. He and I spent most of the session working on more math questions, reading comprehension questions, and the short section of grammar questions at the end of the practice exam that we have been going over. The student's mother wanted me to give him some advice about what other tests he should take to help him get into different colleges. I told him which exams I thought would help him out the most, including both the ACT and the SAT II Math 2 exam. He said he was already thinking of taking the SAT II Math test. I also encouraged looking at other possible SAT II's for any subject that he felt would help him look good to colleges. He is considering taking one of the Science SAT II's, which should definitely help out his high school resume. His homework is to write another essay and get those flashcards written."
"We focused primarily on Reading Comprehension, in particular on longer passages with more complicated analysis questions. We also continued working on math problems."
